Another newcomer among our sensors is the RingCIS, which also belongs to the Profile Scan family.
It enables the image acquisition and thus the machine quality control and error detection for tubes of limited (piece goods) and unlimited length (e.g. in the drawing process).
Different lighting options can be used to make defects visible in both transparent and opaque tubes.
Like the BoroCIS, the RingCIS can also enable magnetic particle crack detection according to DIN 9934-1 with a UV option. Its main advantages are its 100% in-line inspection for fixed and variable diameters, its easy retrofitting and its 360° all-round visibility.
