We are a medium-sized hightech company located in Friedberg (Bavaria) in Munich’s high-tech area. The company was founded in 1991 by Dr. Nikolaus Tichawa and Christine Tichawa.
Our key competence is the development, design and production of Imaging Systems for industrial applications. Over the past decades we focused more into CIS technology with its ease of application.
We have adapted Contact Image Sensor (CIS) for Machine Vision back in 2001 and have been improving our technology and product portfolio ever since.
Our technology includes leading optical technology with the only High DOF (Depth of Field) CIS with 16 mm depth of field, advanced sensor technology providing the only Zero Gap CIS worldwide and state-of-the-art data processing used for image improvement, especially for Roll-to-Roll printing.
