The Basic Distance CIS (BDCIS) offers a higher working distance in comparison to other Contact Image Sensors. Therefore, it is optimal for applications where a close installation is not possible for machine or product related reasons.
By default, it can be configured with resolutions up to 240 dpi; higher resolutions and different working distances on request.
